Spring/Summer 2014 Accessories & Footwear Wishlist

I love how structured this bag is, i think it would work with casual as well as smart outfits. I know black isn't very summery but i've been after a small, simple, black bag for so long because it's just a great basic that I think every girl needs. I also love the concertina style of this - it has so many pockets!

I think these are so cute and summery. I'm not usually a big fan of wedges, but i always find myself drawn to them around summer. I love the clean, cream color but i would be so wary of getting these dirty, i'd probably never leave the house in them! aha

I really like the metal trim on this bag. The color's a lot more summery than black yet i still think you could get away with it all year round. Again, i think it's the type of bag that would work with both smart and casual outfits, and if the strap is detachable (i'm not sure if it is) you could even use it as a clutch.

4) New Look Orange Jelly Sandals - £9.99
I've almost bought jelly sandals for the past 2 summers, but for some reason I always put it off, i don't know why. Anyway, this summer i'm determined to treat myself to some. I love this bright orange color and the price is super affordable. New Look stock this style in a total of 8 colors so there's something for everyone! :)

5) Boohoo Neon Pattern Clutch - £8
I think the pattern and colors on this are gorgeous! They give this clutch a more casual, fun feel which i really like.

6) Boohoo Block Heel Mint Jelly Sandals - £12
Jelly sandals again! I think i prefer this style to the New Look ones - I think the lift from the block heel would make the feet look smaller and cuter. I only wish they had more colors, although i do love this mint. They also stock black, white, nude & clear.

7) Topshop Green Concertina Bag - £25
Another small green bag! Aha sorry but i do love this one too, and i think it's slightly more minty than the New Look one. It's a concertina style again, which mean it has multiple pockets - something that i'm always a sucker for! I think it's a really nice size too, just a bit pricey.

8) Dixi Gold Amethyst Necklace - £20
This is such a pretty, and timeless necklace. I honestly think you could wear it with absolutely anything and it would never look out of place! It's definitely more of a summery piece, but i think it would look gorgeous in Autumn/Winter too.

9) Dixi Rose Gold Midi Ring - £8
I love this simple midi ring, i think it's really pretty and would add a bit of detail to any outfit, day or night.

10) ASOS Rope Chain Gold Hoop Earrings - £8
I've really got a craving for some hoop earrings at the moment! I think, if worn right, they can look really sporty and cool. I love the thick, rope chain style of these from ASOS.

11) Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Mischievous - £7.99
I've heard countless positive reviews about these ColorBurst Matte Balms by Revlon and i'm dying to get my hands on them! From the swatches i've seen online, i think my current favorite is 'mischievous'. It's a really wearable orangey peach color and, from what i've seen, can either been worn fairly sheer, or built for a more statement lip.

12) Dixi Poison Box Ring - £32
I know £32 is a little extortionate for a ring but this one is so beautiful and unusual. Keeping it on my wishlist incase the opportunity for an 'Easter present' comes up! aha

Spring/Summer 2014 Clothing Wishlist

I already own a black Catalina dress and I love it! The fit is perfect and supper flattering. It is a little on the short side, so if you're a bit conscious about dresses being too short it might not be for you. But it's totally dependent your body so i'd say definitely worth a try - you can always return it :) I want to invest in a couple of bright colours for summer and i'm a sucker for bright blue and orange! Motel stock loads of other colours, and patterned versions too, but personally i find plain dresses to be more wearable. This cut is also cute enough to wear during the day, but you can easily dress it up for night time/going out too!

The super fun print makes this playsuit an instant winner in my book. I love the girly pinks and turquoises, and the vertical stripes of colour make it really flattering. I think the shape of this playsuit, loose around the bum and boobs but cinched in at the waist, makes it wearable for any body shape, and the crochet back adds a little bit of unexpected detail. You could wear this during the day with flats and a plain cardi, or dress it up at night with some heeled sandals and simple jewelry.

I just think this is such a cute crop top, and i'm loving the monochrome trend for spring. This would be great with a skirt and cardi in spring, and with a pair of high-waisted denim shorts in summer.

This dress is so pretty, and i think it has such a cute fifties, feminine feel to it. Makes me think of ice creams in the park in summer :)

I'm rather in love with this skirt - again it's part of the monochrome trend which I'm loving at the moment, but i also think it's got of a bit of a 90s 'Clueless' feel to it. It's a great transition piece that could be worn with tights or bare legs, and i think it'd work for both day and night wear too.

I have a growing collection of oversized t-shirts. I'm not usually one for slogan tees but I love the minimalist nature of this one and the slogan is pretty cute. Think it means 'very in fashion', correct me if i'm wrong, it's been a few years since i've done french!

8) Missguided Cloud Print Crop Top (£9.99) and A-Line Mini Skirt (£9.99)
I don't usually like co-ords much but I've really fallen for this set! I think it's got such a 90s feel to it and would look great worn together, or as separate pieces. I think you could get away with wearing it all year round too (not constantly of course). Also, it would work for day and night wear too! Definitely going too have to pick this set up soon.

I spotted these shorts (this skort?) on the Miss Selfridge website a while ago but wasn't sure about them. I had a chance to pop into one of their stores last week so I went to hunt these down and they are so much nicer in person! They're high waisted and are in a lovely thin, soft fabric. I love the idea of skorts - look like a skirt but have the security of short-level coverage - but i've never found any that I like. I think these are really cute though, and i've been seeing daisy print everywhere recently, definitely going to big for summer!

I don't actually own a black skater skirt but always wish i did - aha i know that sounds silly but i'm very bad at getting round to buying things! Anyway, I don't like spending a lot on basic items so this £8 one from Boohoo would be perfect. I think it's a good item for the spring transition too - wear with thick tights when it's cold, not so thick tights when it's springtime and then get those lovely bare leggys out when summer comes!

11) Topshop Lace Frill Socks - £3.50 each
These are just the cutest things. I'd wear them with heeled boots and sandals to add a springy feel :)

Longing for Sunshine - feat. Motel, Missguided, Boohoo & Topshop

This constant wind and rain isn't half depressing. I've come to the terms with the fact that we're probably not going to have any snow this winter *cry* so i just want it to hurry up with spring now, i'm seriously craving some sun! To perk myself up I've made a quick wishlist featuring some gorgeous holiday gear from Motel, Missguided, Boohoo and Topshop.

What do you guys think of my picks? Love that Missguided are now stocking beauty products too!

April Wishlist - Turkey Here I Come!

Me and my boyfriend recently booked a holiday to Turkey so this month's wish list is devoted to holiday clothes. I've also decided to start looking after my skin more - so cleansing and toning every morning and night, and using a mask every couple of weeks. I want to be able to go make-up free in Turkey and if that's going to happen my skin needs to get it's act together! I love the body shop's seaweed range - even though it can be a little pricy, it's the only skincare range that really works on my combination skin.
1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8

Hope you guys like my choices and are all having a great Easter weekend :) Let me know what you've got your eyes on for this summer!
Massive haul and a couple of product reviews coming up for you soon :)

Celia Birtwell for Uniqlo Wishlist

Sorry I've been AWOL for a while - been super busy at uni! It is the start of my Easter holidays next week though so hopefully that'll mean more time for blogging :)
Although i haven't been posting, I have still been reading other peoples blogs. On Daisy's blog I read about a new collaboration between 60s designer Celia Birtwell and stylish high-street store Uniqlo - read Daisy's post here. Once I saw the Vogue preview page, i had to do a wishlist - the collection is gorgeous, and i love how reasonable the prices are.
I'm a bit obsessed with the leggings, I kind of want them all but i've just to included my 3 favourites.
Leggings - £12.90 // Shirt - £19.90 // Tote Bag - £9.90
The collection goes on sale in-store and online today so get buying as I'm sure this is gonna sell out fast!

March Wishlist

It's quite a small wish list this month. To be honest, i have my eye on a rather large selection of underwear, but i don't feel like we're quite close enough just yet for me to share my bra and knicker choices with you, so for now i've decided to keep it to the more 'family friendly' options.
Topshop Tank, Dungarees, Foundation, White Converse, Topshop Corset
First up is the Topshop cut away tank top (£10). I saw this in fashionsrocksmysocks's topshop haul video and just think it would be a great basic that i'd get a lot of wear out of.

Dunagrees are still very firmly on my wishlist. The ones in the picture above are actually from Topshop, but £36 is just too much for me so i've been scouting ebay for a cheaper version.

I'm coming to the end of my Boujois Healthy Mix foundation at the moment so know i'll be needing a replacement within the next couple of weeks. Although i do love the healthy mix, i feel like a change. So, if anyone can recommend me an affordable, medium coverage foundation that's good for combination skin i'd much appreciate it!

The aztec corset also caught my eye but, at £25 i need to find a cheaper version of that too!

Lastly, i've changed my want for new black boots to a want for some white hi tops. I had my eye one some gorgeous vintage pumas on ebay but was tragically outbid in the last second :( so vintage trainers or converse are the newest addition to my wishlist.

Hope you like it :) let me know what you have your eyes on!
And *spoiler alert* I have a little haul coming up this week, with some H&M, Boots and of course Primark, so keep your eyes peeled for that too! :)

February Wishlist

So i've decided i'm better off doing monthly wish lists. Here's my first one, for February.
*Boohoo Black Polo Neck Dress*
I really want a simple black dress, with long(ish) sleeves for layering and i love the polo neck on this one.

*Topshop LA Tee*
Think this would be a great basic tee that could be thrown on top of almost any bottoms.

*Love, Hearts & Crosses Triangle Collar Necklace*
I've wanted this every since i saw Zoella wearing it in her festive room tour video but it is forever out of stock! I'm hoping this'll be the month that they'll buy in some more.

*River Island Denim Dungarees*
I have had a strange urge to buy denim dungarees every since i saw them in Beautycrush's winter look-book video. I think they're a really cute piece with a 90s feel to them that could be worn throughout the year (not constantly, mind)

*Heeled Chelsea Boots*
These are one of those things where i really want them but honestly don't know if they'd ever get worn. I think they're probably last place on my wishlist.

*Topshop Geek Crop*
I love this top. Again, i don't how much i'd wear it, but i do think it'd be super cute in summer.

*Velvet Leggings*
The velvet just adds a subtle difference stopping these leggings from being boring, but being black they would still be easily wearable.

*Topshop Black Glitter Trim & Cream Lace Trim Socks*
Just think these would look cute worn under heels. Again, less of a want than some of the other ones on here.

*Mini (15ml) Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish*
Decided i'm gonna get myself i super mini one! Then i get to try it out without committing to the rather large price tag that the 100ml carries.

Hope you enjoyed my February wishlist. Let me know if any of the items take your fancy too :)

Weekly Wish - Hand Cream

I've been looking out for a hand cream recently since my hands keep feeling really dry and sore - i think it must be this weather! Also, i know i'm only 20, but i do feel like it's time for me to start taking good care of my hands. I already feel like they resemble old lady hands and not taking care of them isn't going to make them look any younger!
I saw this Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Hand Cream (available here) last sunday on Rhiannon's (fashionrocksmysocks) blog in her 'Week in Photo's No.39' post, and it's been hanging around in it's own little tab ever since. I think it looks really cute and it's nice that they do the mini versions to try out. However i do think the price (£8) is still a little steep for such tiny products.
Another hand cream that caught my eye is The Body Shop's Vitamin E Hand Cream (available here) which also promises to condition nails and soften cuticles - that's 3 jobs done in 1! This made me happy because, being very lazy, I am a lover of any product that does more than one thing at once. I do think that £8 is still a little steep for 75ml of product BUT there is 40% off everything online and instore at the Body Shop right now which would re-price this little lovely at the much more agreeable price of £4.80 - perfect!

Weekly Wish

So I thought it might be nice to do a small post about one thing each week that i'm currently coveting. This week, after looking through Topshop's 'New In' it would definitely be these jim jams. I have a real love for cute pajamas and i just think these are so simple yet adorable. They look really comfy too!
'Moon and Back' Tee and Short - £22
